Limited Edition: Scheveningen to Stockholm
This collection marks a new chapter for flat rat ceramics: the move from Scheveningen to Stockholm.
Created to celebrate the journey between these two places, each piece is made from a speckled stoneware clay whose warm, natural character feels reminiscent of both beach sand and forest earth. Decorated by hand using underglaze pencil, the collection brings together symbols of where flat rat ceramics began and where it is heading next.
Half of the pieces feature pine trees in forest green, inspired by the forests surrounding Stockholm. The other half feature the three herrings of the Scheveningen coat of arms, drawn in navy blue as a tribute to the seaside town where flat rat ceramics first took shape.
Each mug and coffee cup is thrown by hand and individually decorated, making every piece unique.
